I have Rayz Tanning lotion but i dont like it all that much.. What has worked the best for you?
I love Designer Skin products. They have a huge range of lotions…single bronzer, no bronzer, multiple Bronzers, tingle and non-tingle lotions, etc.
I’m very fair-skinned, and I’ve found that their products have gotten me darker than any other brand I’ve tried, and trust me, I’ve tried a ton. They all smell great too.
The two DS products I’m currently hooked on are Spellbound, which has 4 bronzers, and Black, which has 20x bronzers. They both have a silicone emulsion formula that makes your skin feel silky soft after using it.
The bronzers in the DS products are great. I’ve never once had any trouble with unevenness or streaking, even with the lotions like Black, that have a ton of bronzers. As long as you rub it in well, their lotions aren’t going to make you streaky.
You can buy their lotions at many tanning supply stores online, and also Ebay. Some of the tanning Salons also carry Designer Skin products, but they are much, much cheaper online. I save 50% or more by buying my lotion online, as opposed to the Salon prices.
Here’s a link to the DS website if you’d like to check out their products:

Why does the Palms Casino Las Vegas attract such a Trendy Crowd?
I was there when the Maloofs first opened the Palms Casino in 2001. They happened to have a Pimp n Ho ball party in the building. There were literally women naked or wearing transparent clothing walking around the casino. Its been a magnet for Playboy,Tattooing,Clubbing,Sunset Tan, types ever since. They only spent $200 million to build the place. It really shows, used the cheapest materials around. Even the public toilets dont have an auto flush. However there’s a cult like following of the hottest people on this planet always loitering there. Ive heard reviews that the customer service is poor, and the staff is unaccomidating towards seniors and families, because they only wish to attract that certain type of clientle. If anyone knows their business model or secret, please let me know? Or any similar experiences? 2007 MTV Video Awards at the Palms this weekend? Gosh this place has elevated itself to a level above and beyond…….
The Maloof Brothers know how to attract that crowd, because they have friends in that crowd. The hotel became trendy when they let MTV have a real world in one of their suites. They have great clubs with fun atmosphere and good music. They also market to bachelor & bachelorette parties with rooms complete with stripper poles, and special parties at their restaurants. That invokes a party atmosphere and it is too far to drive to the strip when you are having so much fun right there.
They got Playboy/Hef to open a suite too. Beautiful want to go to be seen, so it is the trendy place until something better comes along. They knocked Hard Rock off that spot when they opened.
i have them and people have said to go tanning, but is that after they’ve become white?
tanning actually makes them more prominent so i’d advise not to go tanning. they make them a lot more noticeable so instead use a Tanning Lotion or a Spray Tan and that will actually mask them
Cover Stretch Marks – Will Tanning Cover Stretch Marks?
I am pretty pale with redish/pinkish undertones. I am looking into the Self Tanners at walgreens but I really dont want to turn orange or have a mess. Tanning is relazing but I am sometimes just to lazy to get up and go.It takes me a while to tan and i never get that deep dark brown like i want. I DONT want to look orange and i do want to look natural!
Advice please!! Thanks!
(i apologize ahead for this being so freaking long)
okay of course i’m going to tell you to go to a Tanning Salon because i work at one, but i’ll give you my reasons as to why also haha.
you’ll always hear stuff about Skin Cancer blah blah, which it’s true, tanning does put you at risk for cancer, but there is a smart way to tan.
try to find high powered (with high pressured lamps) beds. you may think the higher pressured beds are going to hurt your skin more but they actually help. you do not have to go in them as much (depending on the bed 1-3 times a week or for certain beds 2-3 times a month…which is good if you’re too lazy to go tan a lot!) verses the low pressured beds where you need to go 3-5 times a week to maintain your tan. also the higher pressured beds have a lower burn ratio..(the salon i work at has the ergoline open sun 1050 and it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to burn..i promise you even when i’m the palest of all pale i never burn in the bed! it’s amazing)
also if you are pretty pale, try using a lotion while you tan! lotion not only maximizes your tan but it prepares your skin for Uv Rays and keeps it moisturized as well. try one with a heat activated bronzer to give you a darker tan! (you won’t look orange). also another option to help your skin is the Mystic Tan. before you completely rule this option out let me explain it..
yes the mystic can mess up sometimes, but if you keep your skin hydrated and healthy it will work fine. and it isn’t orange. tanning in a bed and then tanning in the spray on mystic Booth really looks good (i do it myself all the time). don’t overdo the mystic though, tan in it once to twice a week. (if you do use the mystic booth and tan in a bed with lotion..make sure your lotion does NOT have a bronzer…this can cause streaking!) the mystic booth also has different levels of tanning (color) so try starting out with a level one to test it, then try a level 2 (level two has more bronzer giving you a darker color). and honestly i’ve tried a level three mystic..and it wasn’t that great..it was just obviously fake, so i wouldn’t suggest it. but level twos look great!
and if you decide you don’t want to go to a tanning salon, i used to use l’oreal sublime glow (it works so well and you spray it on yourself in a light spray) or jergens natural glow lotion which works really well as well.
theres a little information about the three options you have so i hope it helped you a little, and good luck!!
I bought the product and they do not make this for the face. i was wondering if I could put this on my face. If I do not, does this mean my body will be tan and my face will not be/? Any suggestions please. Thanks.
apply at night after washing your face- I have used it- no problem

Skin exfoliator machine system thing??? Does anyone know the Name of It??
Hi all
Does any one know the name or the website where I can find a product. It used to be on TV a few months ago and it might still be on I dont know but anyway it was a thing that exfoliated the skin super well and you could see all the dead black dirty skin coming off the top and all the nice shiny skin underneath. Its like a big white stick with different heads and they like rolled it on there faces and arms in the demonstrations on the morning shows.( if anyone knows of anything like it please give me details) I want to use it for before I put on my Fake Tan because u always have to exfoliate and i thought maybe because this works so well the tan might stay on longer and more even- what do youse think
Thanx
I think Yves Rocher do something like this, there might be something on their website about it.
hope this helps.
