I use to always go to the Tanning Bed (until allot of people in my family ended up with Skin Cancer). I am pretty fair skinned & it’s not worth it to me anymore. Anyways, what is the best formula (spray or lotion)? What are some really good brands? I am pretty fair skinned if this helps & I am just going to put it on my legs to make them more even. I have some ugly spider veins & bruises. Thanks!
I shopped around for a few different kinds and here is the best one i found that doesnt cause streaks and looks natural…Hawaiian Tropic Island Radiance Self Tanner…..i use medium but it isnt a lotion or spray its like gel and thats probably why it doesnt streak….but everybody always compliments me on my tan
is it ok to use self Sunless tanning spray right after or before going into a tan bed? do you need to shower and rinse it off before? I want to use my Self Tan spray at home then go the same day but in the night to the Tan Salon. is that ok? or vise versa. go tan beds. then later put tan pray on? whats the best way to do this to keep my tan from fading so fast?
I think you should let your Tanning Bed tan develop before you use the self-tanner. Sometimes it takes a few hours for a tan to develop after you are in the sun or a bed. Other than that it is fine to use Spray Tan after tanning in a bed or in the sun. I know you know this, but just using the spray would be less harmful in the long run but I understand that you want to be tan!
Designer Skin Tanning lotion, will they let me return it?
I am guessing most Tanning Lotions you are not able to return to the Salon.. but I payed $50.00 for this Designer Skin Tanning lotion called Majesty. After I used it twice I noticed both times it left me smelling really bad, even if I just showered beforehand. It has some sort of Orange juice in it so I don’t know if that is it or what but I felt like I smelled really strong like cat piss. (sounds bad I know) I usually always smell really good after a tan.. with previous lotions that leave you smelling like coconuts and bananas. I sometimes hit the salon on the way to work or going out with friends, so I don’t want to be smelling like this but I don’t want it to be a waste of my money. Now I know that if I tell them this I doubt they will except an exchange, but what if I say I think I am alergic to something in it.. it gave me a rash or something. Do you think they would let me exchange it out for something else? What are your opinions, what do you think I should do/say??
it depends on how much of it you used you know… personally i dont think they will let you return it!
I’m a 29 year old male. I eat healthy, do not smoke, and drink socially at most. I am very fit by any standard, do at least an hour of cardio 6 times a week and lift weights 4 days a week. I shower no less than once a day before bed. My dilema is that I have ALWAYs had breakouts on my back and nowhere else. I use a back scrubber when I shower and have tried many types of acne soap. It sucks having abs on one side and a half dozen pimples on the other. Ive done the Tanning thing and that works to an degree but it is unhealthy. Any ideas?
the breakouts may be caused by exercising.. since you sweat and don’t shower immediately following. Try showering right after you work out.

im semi-pale and would like to be tan. whats the best product out there to help tanning? i dont want to use Tanning Beds or Spray Tans, im sticking to natural sun and a Tanning Lotion. any help?? Thanks!
gotta say, the only product that have ever worked for me was the Jergen’s Natural Glow tanning lotion. It builds up the tan over time and doesn’t have that effect where it turns you orange. That’s actual lotion, but for tanning outside, a cheap alternative for tanning lotion (which can be pricey) is baby oil actually. Make sure you still put sunscreen on your face and ears though, or they will most likely burn. good luck on that tan.
I am wanting to tan and need a good Tanning lotion. Is Spellbound a good lotion?
Is Spellbound a good lotion. I am using Smolder and it is really good. Can anyone reccommend another good lotion. I do like tingle with bronzer. Someone was telling me that Spellbound is the #1 Tanning Lotion right now. Any tips for tanning. Also, would it be okay to use Jergens Natural glow after I tan or will it mess my tan up. Open to any suggestions on tanning. Want to speed the process up. Thanks
there is some stuff at bath and body that really works

What wall color/design would compliment this color scheme?
Unfortunately my new place has green carpet. I’m renting from a friend and can not recarpet as he is attached to the color. The furniture/bedding colors are predominantly tan and black in my room. So basically I’m looking for something that will go well with these three colors for my walls. I’m not opposed to wall paper, in fact it seems like it may be easier.. I’d like something that stands out, but isn’t too bold. Any ideas? Also, extra credit if you can tell me where I look for examples.
Go to Sherwin Williams and buy their paint fan. It’s only 10 bucks. Then, using the fan to find a tan color that is a couple of shades lighter than your furniture and use that. Remember that paint is always darker and brighter on the walls. If you prefer green or gray, then use the paint fan the same way. The top two colors on the paint strips will probably be the best colors for your bedroom, and make sure you purchase the Super Paint in eggshell. Don’t buy Durations. It’s runny and messy, and I just hate it. Two colors that come to mind for your room are Windowpane and Bagel. Everyone has their own tastes, though, which is why I recommend the fan.
Also, go to sherwin-williams.com and you can design your room on right on their website. It’s free.
