i really need to tan. i qo to a place called beach bum tanninq its pretty qood && i liked the results that gave me before. ive tried tanninq beds && i liked them, but its really bad for youhree skin so i want to try spray tanninq.
but i need help. should i do airbrush tanninq, which is when an individual person sprays youh or tanninq booth, which is when youh qo in a booth by yourself && a machine sprays youh.
which one should i do.?

I just bought a Wolff Tanning bed and i believe the bulbs need to be replace i have used it twice once stay in for 5 Min’s then again for 7Min’s and i did not even get red . i have been looking online to lamps but i wanted to know if someone knew of a place to get them cheap?! thanks for your help!

I went to a Stand Up Tanning Booth for the first time last weekend. My rear got pink; the rest of me is fine, no burns at all (the stand up at my gym is not as strong as the new bed, so they told me). I want to put on the right lotion. I used an accelerator the last time. Can I use a lotion with a low SPF to protect a little from burning, as I do in the sun? Or does that prevent a tan from forming? (I can use an SPF of 2 to 8 in the sun and still tan, even a 15 on my face & still get some color without burning in the sun.) There are tanning booth lotions available, but they have no SPF. Forgive me if this sounds silly, but wouldn’t we need similar tan-enhancing, burn-protecting in the booth as we do in the sun?
I went for 10 minutes the first time; if I can SPF my butt I’ll go 9, I think. Any advice is welcome! Or product recommendations! My skin is light, but not lily-white; like extra-lite coffee. I tan easy, but it takes a long time to get really tan.
Tanning Bed causes cancer…. especially if you don’t protect yourself with a SPF….
I have senstive fair skin and I want to start going to the Tanning Bed, so I was wondering what Tanning Lotions won’t burn my skin. I have been looking at things like Spellbound, Phoenician, and Goddess by designer skin but I don’t know if they will work or if there is something better.
Please let me know what you think may work.

the ones they sell at the place are usually good, and it’s nice if you can buy the one time use ones. as a rule, for sensitive skin, the fewer ingredients the better, so stay away from Bronzers and the tingly ones. also see if there are any unscented ones. water should be the first ingredient for the mildest.
A friend recently gave me a sample she’d been sent of Spray Tan, as she’d recieved two. I’m not depserate to use it, especially as I don’t have a spray tan applicator.

becareful! make sure if you apply it at all you make sure your body is free of the follwing makeup lotion oils deoderant perfume sweat. make sure your body is very exfoilated! anything that is on your body including dead cell build up will result in the tan not sticking in those areas. wear gloves to so you don’t get orange palms save the hands for last ok. this is all i can tell you i spray tan people and have been spray tanned i t can look very nice if it is done right. Are Tanning beds safe!? How do you lay in them? What lotion do I use?
I am new to the whole Indoor Tanning buisness!! Haha, so I need some pointers!!
1) are they safe in your opinion?
2) how do you lay.. Back, stomach, side..??
3) what is the best lotion to use? (I have “smile your dark”)
4) how long should I go so I won’t get burnt.. I don’t burn easily and I get REALLY dark in the summer!

No they are not safe. They expose you to higher, more concentrated UV radiation. This is the type of radiation responsible, in large part, for most skin cancers.
Some of the better SalonSelf Tanners/ spray tanners are a much safer option is you must be tanned.
When I think of the tanning salon, I think of just Tanning Beds or Spray Tan (by a machine). However I refuse to ever use a Tanning Bed and I heard spray tan comes out really streaky.
Are their any other ways at the salon that you can use to get tan?
BQ: What is the best self-Tanning Lotion (I have very pale skin). Something that won’t become streaky or make me look orange. I heard Jergen’s was the best.
Try lotions with a hint of Self Tanner. Put it on everyday after you shower. I have Vaseline Intensive Care with self tanner. If your pale and you want good results, try the medium tone. It really does work good, and its only about $4.

The number of melanoma cases among young women in the U.S. has risen fast, said the National Cancer Institute’s Division of Cancer Epidemiology & Genetics as quoted by media reports Monday.
Researchers from the institute looked over more than 20,000 cases of melanoma in young adults aged 15 to 49 from 1973 to 2004.
The results show the number of melanoma cases among the subjects has risen by 50 percent since the year 1980, they said.
Anyone can get melanoma. Your risk is much higher if you’re fair skinned. My husband had one removed from his back–he’s never tanned in his life. He was lucky to have noticed it and asked his dermatologist about it. It just looked like a small, black mole.
