I recently started going to bed to get some color before prom. Thus, to save money I went to a beauty supply store in search of a sunscreen Sally. I found some at a good price when I burned my bed a little while now using a lotion that I bought at The Tanning Salon. I watched the bottle lotion I bought supplies at the store and said nothing to have SPF in it. Therefore, I wondered if a sunscreen SPF should contain when you use the tanning salon? I know I can not remember if I bought the package lotion games, said it contains SPF.
lotion Tanning is not a FPS. There should be no sun block or Suntan Lotion artificial. You would be contrary to the purpose of Tanning Bed if you use a cream with SPF.
My friends and I want to start up a coffee shop/TanningSalon…where do we begin? Any suggestions??
The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you’re interested in.
I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.
Associations may be a good avenue to explore. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you’ll inevitably have as well as many you haven’t anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.
Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

How come botox, collegan, “darker skin aka Tanning” now a trend?
A group of people, almost most of the people of every continent got killed for this features yet, Its almost the thing to do, socially accepted now. And I know its not because it looks better on them because clearly we see the examples of this: Jocelyn Wildenstein, Michael Jackson, Melanie Griffith, etc; etc.
I honestly don’t know. I think it’s because after they’ve messed with themselves, they feel more confident. Even if they looked better before. It make them feel better about themselves… I’m not sure why society accepts it they just do. We’ve accepted worst things in the past (ex. slavery), so I guess botox isn’t the worst it can be.
Please do not respond unless you are familiar with these products as it’s a toss-up and I have not tried any of these before, so they’re all new to me.
I have 2 lots of Tanning Lotions to choose from so if you are familiar with any of them please let me know if they are worth the buy or if you werent all that impressed. Overall, if you see that one lot is better than the other please let me know which you feel is best!
Thanks in advance!
Here are the choices:
OC Overnight Celebrity 4x bronzer -12 oz. bottle
and TWO 8.5 oz bottles of Swedish Beauty Hemp Cream
<>
Supre Hempz Hot Ultra Dark Maximizer (has slight tingle) 9oz.
Austrailian Gold Dream ON 3x bronzer -13.5 oz.
Most Products Generation X (has slight tingle) 8 oz bottle.
Both are about the same price (the 2nd lot is only $5.00 more) and for me it’s a toss up. I’ve tried the brands before but just not these products.
Any reviews???
The OC celebrity works pretty good. It really depends on weather you like lotions with tingle or not i love love love HOT lotions have you used any Designer Skin products? Those are my favorites. I really think the 2nd choice is your better pick though (only because i like tingle lotions). The tingling factor helps open up your pores and bring melanin to the surface.
Ps: hemp doesn’t do much for your tan it just helps keep the skin from getting too dry.
I hope i could help!
i bought this tampa bay tan Spray Tanning solution. However, it was untill i got it in the mail that i realized it is for an airbrush system sprayer gun?? i go away on vacation soon and i dont want to buy an expensive system? do u think i could self apply it? or anything around my house would work? like a regular spray bottle???? HELP ME PLEASE!!! SO DESPERATE!
Honey, buy a makeup sponge. Put the solution on that and apply. The only thing is is you have to make sure it goes on evenly. Did you buy bronze or clear solution? If its bronze thats not hard. But if its clear you will have to go by the feel of the wetness to determine where it is being applied. My suggestion would be to do 2 applications so you dont miss any spots. Good luck!!!
Tanning: Versa Spa Skin Care System Spray Tan at Level 2 with Bronzers
Seriously! If anything, it makes people look orange rather than tan. I actually know a guy who goes to a Sunless TanningBooth, and he’s been called “Tangerine Man” behind his back because of the way the stuff makes his bald head look.
Yes it does! I’ve never seen one that looked good, and I’ve seen people pay as much as $10,000 for a Fake Tan…yeah, no lie, $10,000.
Hi Josh Episode 2: Tan Man – Spray Tan Documentary
I tan pretty well but haven’t found a great lotion yet. I like Bronzers but the color fades so fast. I don’t mind paying a high price as most lotion is expensive these days. I would just like some input on what your favorite lotion is and why you love it!
None because you should be avoiding the tanning bed. The rays are just as harmful as the sun’s rays. The lotion used must have a high SPF to protect your skin.
How do I use the Sunless bronzers without getting itchy everywhere it touches???
The new ones — L’Oreal and Dove — make me break out in a rash. Does anyone else have a similar experience…and has now found an alternate brand of non-itchy Sunless Bronzer?
You’re obviously allergic to something in those particular products. Maybe the dye in general – therefore possibly to all of them. I don’t know. I have no problems with any of them I’ve ever used – and I’ve used several. I purchase my spray self-tanner through AVON. But I’ve used Neutrogena as well as others- again successfully.
